Find A Suitable Planet For NMS Apex Predator

Players can use their starship to scan different planets in various systems. Nevertheless, they can look for planets with exotic biomes in NMS for Apex Predator.

Significantly, players must focus on planets that have a limited number of creature species.

Fewer total creatures often correlate with higher PAV scores among the predators present. Moreover, some planets are known for having more aggressive fauna.

Scanning For NMS Predators

Once the player lands on a promising planet, they can utilize their scanner to locate creatures, which will help them identify nearby fauna.

When they spot a predator, they scan it to check its PAV. However, they must ensure that the predator meets the required threshold of over 12.0.

Further, if the first predator they encounter does not meet the requirement, they need to continue exploring and scanning other creatures on the planet.

• Deng IV, Ulvemar Minor System: Players can find a predator with a PAV over 30 on this moon, which is located in Dropzone 3.
• Anvey VIII, Uooyiiji System: Players can discover an underwater predator with a PAV over 30 in Dropzone 4.

Once players complete the “Apex Predator” mission, they will obtain rewards: a pre-packaged Combat Scope Unit, 240 Mordite, and a Supreme Scanning System Upgrade.
