Kasaya Robe In Black Myth: Wukong Chapter 1
The main objective of Chapter 1 of Black Myth: Wukong is to retrieve one of the six Wukong relics found in the Black Wind Mountain guarded by Black Bear.
Players will play as the Destinated One and start their journey from the Black Wind Mountain, uncovering a story linked to the original Journey to the West (JTTW).
Additionally, after discovering the mystery, you will arrive at a temple where Elder Jinchi, a hidden boss of the game, is located.
Progressing further, you will find out about the Jinchi obsession with Kasaya worn by Sanzang and his student “Guangzhi” plan to obtain it for their master’s.
Furthermore, the final cutscene reveals that Guanyin Buddha instructed the black bear to guide Jinchi to his destiny.
The bear finds Jinchi’s obsession with the kasaya confusing since monks should sacrifice material desires and seek inner peace.
Guanyin explains that Jinchi’s desire for the kasaya is ironic because it shows he hasn’t truly achieved inner peace.
Black Myth: Wukong Chapter 1 centers on Jinchi’s greed and symbolizes the cultural identity of the true Buddhist monk.
