In Throne And Liberty, the Honeypot Ant is a special ant that hides under a honey pot.
The enemy feeds on liquid honey and only emerges when the other ants around it are killed, sensing danger as it eats the remaining honey.
An important note is that when the Honeypot Ant is finally killed, it will heal anyone nearby. This makes it a strategic target, both for the quest and for the benefits.
Locate The Honeypot Ant In Throne And Liberty

As part of the Expedition Records: Ant Nest collection, you need to get a specific page to finish the mission.
Defeat The Honeypot Ant In Throne And Liberty
Defeating the Honeypot Ant requires strategy and patience, especially since it’s defensive and the other ants will try to protect it. Here’s how to defeat the Honeypot Ant and finish this part of the mission.
Go to the Ant Nest waypoint and go through the dungeon until you reach the westernmost area. In this area, you’ll find a golden egg, which is the key to summoning the Honeypot Ant.
The egg can only be hatched by defeating the ants around it. The ants will guard the egg fiercely, so you’ll need to kill them in waves.
Moreover, The egg has honey, and once enough ants are defeating the Honeypot Ant will appear.
While defeating the ants, focus on defeating them fast but don’t get into unnecessary battles with other enemies.
The longer you fight, the more ants will come to defend the egg and slow you down.
Once the Honeypot Ant comes out, defeat it fast but be prepared for more ants to rush in to defend it.
You should move around so as not to get overwhelmed by the swarm. The Honeypot Ant will eat honey and get temporary buffs, but if you keep at it, you can wear it down.
After you defeat the Honeypot Ant, note that it has a long cooldown before it can be summoned again.
If you fail the first time, you’ll need to go back to the area and try again when the egg respawns. Or you can shapeshift and camp near the egg for the next hatching.
Defeating the Honeypot Ant is part of the “Beginning of Misfortune” quest, and defeating it will give you healing and progress in the Expedition Records: Ant Nest collection.
