In Silent Hill 2, puzzles are the main mechanics to progress ahead. You can solve the puzzle in Eastern South Vale, Wood Side Apartments, Brookhaven Hospital, and more.

The Director’s Hand Puzzle in Silent Hill 2 requires you to find a bracelet to open the key-grabbing hand and proceed in the game.

Director’s Hand Puzzle In Silent Hill 2 Remake

The horror survival game’s story revolves around the main character, James Sunderland, and his dead wife.

There are a few puzzles in the Brookhaven Hospital of Silent Hill 2 where the Director’s Hand Puzzle is one.

You can find a stone hand in the Director’s office holding a key. To take the key, you will have to find three bracelets.

The Marked Bracelet, Bloodstained Bracelet, and Filthy Bracelet are the three bracelets you must put in the stone hand.

Marked Bracelet In Medical Records Room

You can find the Marked Bracelet in the Medical Records Room on 1F. The way to get the bracelet is not conventional; however, this is the best place to start from.

• Go to the Nurse’s Lounge on 2F.
• Get the L1 Room key from the table.
• Enter into the L1 Room on 2F by unlocking the door on the left side.
• Push the cart against the East wall and climb up through the gap.
• Enter into the connected room and then into a hole low down in the wall.
• After a cutscene, you will end up at 1F in the Medical Records Room.
• The Marked Bracelet is in the corner of the room.

Bloodstained Bracelet In The Pool On 1F

You will find the Bloodstained Bracelet in the Pool on the 1F, where you must drain the pool first.

• Start by getting into the Women’s Locker Room on 2F.
• Interact with the Teddy Bear and get the Bent Needle.
• Head up toward the X-ray room on 3F and get the 1F Inner Ward Key.
• Come back to the 1F and unlock the Hallway Door between the Locker Room and the Restroom.
• From the Dayroom, enter the Pharmacy next to it.
• Loop around into the Greenhouse before moving to the Pool.
• Enter the Shower Room and the Unnamed Room.
• To the east of it, you will find Medical Tubing on the sink.
• Combine the Medical Tubing with the Bent Needle.
• Come back to the Pharmacy with it and interact with the Drain in the corner.
• Use the combined part to extract the Maintenance Key from the drain.
• Take the key to the Pool Pump Hatch and use it.
• Turn the Handle towards the inside to drain the pool.
• Walk into the pool and smash the wall on the South where the eye is marked.
• Extract the Bloodstained Bracelet after an interaction.

Filthy Bracelet In 3F Of Silent Hill 2

The Filthy Bracelet is on 3F, but you must complete the Hospital Combination Lock and X-Ray puzzle to open it.

You can still grab the bracelet if you haven’t completed the puzzle yet.

• Access Room D1, but the presence of code varies according to the difficulty level.
• You must enter the lock combination in the correct order: Right 4, Left 37, and right 12.
• Once you enter the room, interact with the bed to pull back the sheet.
• You can pick up the Filthy Bracelet from the maggoty mess underneath.

As you have collected all three bracelets, return to the Director’s office. You must arrange them by hand following the order.

There are specific numbers on hand pointed to the front, which indicate Bloodstained(92), Marked(45), and Filthy(71).

After successfully placing the Bracelet, you will solve the puzzle, and the hand will release the Director’s Storage Room Key.

Using the key, you can safely proceed through the hospital’s critical path and open the director’s office.
