Dragon Ball: Sparking ZERO is a fighting game developed by Spike Chunsoft and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment.
In Dragon Ball: Sparking ZERO, you will encounter various Sparking Episodes for each character which function as an alternate path for storyline.
One of Frieza’s Sparking Episodes takes place in Chapter 5, titled Frieza Revived, in the game.
Branching Path In Sparking ZERO Frieza Revived Episode
To unlock the alternate path in the Frieza Revived episode in Sparking ZERO, you must defeat Goku and Vegeta within a specific time limit.
While the fight is already challenging, the time constraint makes it even harder to unlock the alternate route.
Defeating them in under three minutes gives you the best chance of unlocking the alternate storyline.
It may take several attempts, as it can be quite difficult to beat them within the time frame. Defeating Goku and Vegeta will trigger a unique cutscene.
In this cutscene, Lord Beerus stops Frieza from killing Goku and Vegeta and destroying Earth.
Frieza then sets two conditions to spare the planet and their lives.
First, Lord Beerus must agree to stop interfering with the Frieza Force’s activities. Second, Frieza demands to use Earth’s Dragon Balls to resurrect his fallen soldiers.
Surprisingly, Lord Beerus accepts these terms, leading to a new plot twist.
Frieza’s Conditions To Join The Tournament of Power
At the end of the cutscene, Lord Beerus invites Frieza to join the Tournament of Power. Frieza agrees, but only on the condition that he can choose his teammate.
Beerus agrees, allowing Frieza to select from the following:
- King Cold
- Dodoria and Zarbon
- The Ginyu Force
- Colder
Each choice leads to a different outcome. For the most epic result, choose King Cold as your teammate.
Another alternate path can be found in the episode The Fall of the Saiyans.
You can unlock it by defeating Super Saiyan Goku without having Frieza transform into his full-power form.
In addition to Frieza’s Sparking episode, players can unlock Sparking episodes for Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, and Piccolo.
