DRAGON BALL: Sparking Zero is the newly launched video game based on the legendary manga series Dragon Ball.
Developed by Spike Chunsoft, Sparking Zero introduces high-speed 3D arena battles and several playable characters.
One such playable character is Piccolo and exclusive Piccolo’s Saga where he faces Android 17 in a tough battle.
Piccolo Vs. Android 17 And Cell In Sparking Zero
Piccolo’s exclusive saga allows players to compete against bosses in various storylines. One such storyline is against Android 17 and Cell in Chapter 3 of Piccolo’s Saga.
When you begin the Android 17/Cell Arc, a cut scene will introduce you to the storyline between Piccolo and Android 17.
The androids’ search for Goku leads them to the Kame House while Goku and Vegeta are training elsewhere. Piccolo decides to take on Android 17 following their heated exchange.
Android 17 is an insanely fast opponent; capable of rapidly unloading attacks. Hence, you might struggle to cope with his attack initially.
However, as the battle progresses, Piccolo’s combo hits will severely damage Android 17. Therefore, we advise the players to focus on landing the combo hits and save Piccolo’s special attacks for later.
Further, Cell will start attacking Piccolo amidst the fight with Android 17. Cell is on a mission to hunt both Android 17 and Android 18 in order to complete his design and mold it into Perfect form.
Sparking Zero allows players to proceed into the alternative storylines, named Branching Path. The main storyline in Sparking Zero follows the path of the anime.
Despite Piccolo’s best efforts, Cell absorbs both of the androids. Having achieved his perfect form, Cell challenges Cell Games to anyone who wishes to defy him.
Piccolo joins his friends Goku and Vegeta in order to prepare for Cell Games. Goku fights Cell in a valiant Cell Games battle.
However, Cell resorts to self-destruction, costing Goku his life. This causes Gohan to release a cast amount of power, eradicating Cell in the process.
Branching Path: Piccolo Defeats Android And Cell
Players can proceed with the alternative storyline that deviates from the main storyline of the anime.
If you are able to restrict Cell from absorbing both the androids, your fight with Android 17 resumes. You can conclude the fight against Android 17 using the Hellzone Grenade.
Following his victory, Piccolo warns Android 17 and Android 18 to not attack Goku again. The Red Ribbon Androids flee the scene after vowing to hunt Goku again in the future.
Goku thanks Piccolo for his efforts, and the Namekian Warriors resume their training.
