October 18 NYT Connections seemed a bit tougher than previous ones, as we were not able to get a single group right on the first attempt.

In today’s NYT Connections, we got the second group first rather than yellow (the easiest one), as it seemed a bit harder.

Now that we could not get the easiest group (Yellow), we were curious about it.

Later, when my colleague closely analyzed all the words, he suggested grouping out the words Bust, Dud, Flop, and Miss, which I did and got the category “Clunker.”

Only 2 attempts remaining.

After nearly 15 minutes for both groups, we decided to investigate the meanings of the remaining words and progress through the puzzle.
