Exciting New Features In Anime Vanguards Update 1
The update adds a new in-game story called Shibuya Station and introduces a new legend stage known as Shibuya Massacre.
This update adds many unique abilities for certain units, allowing you to cycle between two different buffs and switch places between two units.
Moreover, the game introduces unit elements, with each element providing unique buffs to the units.
The new Elements along with their status effects are as follows:
- Fire – Immune to Snare
- Water – Immune to SPA debuffs
- Nature – Immune to RNG debuffs
- Spark – Immune to DMG debuffs
- Holy – Reduce time of debuffs by 10%
- Curse – DMG +5% when attacking a boss
- Unbound – Increases Crit Rate by 5%
- Blast – Ignore 10% of enemies DMG reduction
- Cosmic – DMG +10% on placement
- Passion – Increase dodge chance by 10%

Units can have elemental weaknesses, with specific elements dealing additional damage based on their type.
New Unit “Julias” Arrives In Anime Vanguards
The Cursed Showdown update includes a new battle pass, offering exciting rewards and challenges for players to enjoy.
The battle pass includes various items, such as trait rerolls, gems, and gold, and features a new unit, Julias.
Players can obtain Julias, an exclusive unit, by reaching level 25 in the free battle pass in Anime Vanguards.
Players who purchased the premium pass can obtain the shiny version of the unit.
The unit has a special passive ability called Mirrored Frosse, which decreases the enemy’s speed by 1% with each attack that freezes them.
Evolving the unit unlocks a new passive ability, Chilling Contempt, which increases damage by 7% with each attack, up to a maximum of 56%.
Additionally, evolving the unit boosts its RNG by 7% per wave, with a cap of 35%. The unit can be leveled up to 60.
