When you arrive at the marker, Rook begins a monologue about the place and Solas.
Suddenly, Neve interrupts expressing her anger at Rook, saying she trusted him despite the dangers.
To move forward, find Neve and start a conversation.
During this talk, you will need to pick between two responses that affect how Neve reacts.
Continue by following the map marker and locate Harding.
Speak with her and choose from three dialogue options, each one affecting how the story unfolds.
These conversations add depth to the quest, helping to uncover more about the characters’ backstories.
Relive Varric’s Death In Dragon Age: The Veilguard
Further, find Varric in a place tied to his memories. Here, you will relive Varric’s murder at the hands of Solas.
After this vivid cutscene, Varric will talk to you. When the conversation ends, you will be able to escape the prison.
As you leave, a cutscene reveals Elgar’nan seizing control of Archon’s Palace.
In the lighthouse, Rook and his allies discuss their only chance to stop Elgar’nan: a dagger held by Solas. This marks the final part of the quest.
Upon completing “A Cage for Gods” you will be rewarded with 10,000 XP, the Part 12: The Best Tales trophy, and unlocks the new quest, The Dragon and the Dread Wolf.
