Explore The “Back to Slag Heap” Quest In Stalker 2
Back to the Slag Heap is a key mission in Stalker 2, featuring two critical choices that significantly impact the direction of the story.
As the mission begins, enter the plant and meet Sgt. Metlov. He directs you to Diode on the second floor, stating he’ll be there.
Head upstairs to meet Col. Korshunov of the Ward and Dr. Dalin, triggering a cutscene.
At the end of the cutscene, the Colonel will ask if you have anything to report, and you’ll have two choices.
The two options are “Show the unusual PDA” and “Do not show the unusual PDA.“
Showing The Unusual PDA
If you choose “Show the unusual PDA,” Skif will hand it over to Col. Korshunov. Dalin will then introduce himself as the Head of SIRCAA.
Korshunov will ask Skif to visit Wild Island and speak with Strider, the leader of the former Monolithians.
He will also provide Skif with a Ward Badge. This choice will add extra objectives, extending the mission’s duration.
Not Showing The Unusual PDA
If you choose not to inform them about the unusual PDA, Col. Korshunov and Dr. Dalin will argue, and you can simply leave.
This option is best for completing the mission quickly. Richter meets you at the bottom of the stairs, asks for a moment, and leads you outside.
Head To The Sawmill And Speak With Scar In Stalker 2
The Sawmill lies southeast of the Slag Heap in the Wild Island zone. Inside, you’ll find Scar and his men gathered around the campfire.
A long cutscene plays, and at the end, you’re presented with similar options to choose from.
Scar presents two options in Stalker 2: “Show the unusual PDA” and “Do not show the unusual PDA.“
If you show the unusual PDA, Scar examines it and orders you to visit Strider on Wild Island, completing the mission.
Whereas, if you hide the unusual PDA, Scar warns Skif, and the mission ends. This is the fastest way to complete it.
