Strider Location In Stalker 2 With “Hot On The Trails” Quest Walkthrough

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is a horror FPS video game. The whole map is divided into different areas, which makes it easier to locate.

Garbage, Chemical Plant, and Wild Lands are the main areas in Stalker 2. Players spend most of their time completing missions, which ultimately leads to encounters.

In the Hot on the Trails quest of Stalker 2, players will have to interact with Strider, who is a character from Call of Pripyat.

Hot On The Trail Quest And Strider Location In Stalker 2

Once the player finishes interacting with Scar in the previous quest, they will begin with the quest Hot on the Trails.

In this quest, players will have to complete a few objectives to reach the end of the quest. Players must start by getting inside the Noontide Base.

There are multiple ways to enter, but the easiest and foremost way to get inside is by showing a broken PDA to the Colonel in Slag Heap.

Once you show the broken PDA in Slag Heap, he will give you a Warden Badge, which you can show directly at the base’s gate.

Inside the base, you must interact with some random NPCs and end up with a quest. The quest will require you to find Dubny.

To begin with the quest, you can use one of the stairs at the main base and take the first left. Following this path will lead you to a hole across where you will find Dubny.

Find Strider In The Main Base Area In Stalker 2

In this part, Dubny will ask you to search for Strider, who is in the base dealing with an emergency.

From there, return to the main base and follow the yellow mark until you reach the big area with a few injured guards.

Strider is at the end of this area, and you will have to find the path leading to him. Start heading to the other end from the path to the left of a minivan.

After that, enter the second gap in the wall on your left. Following this path, you will see a small gap in the fence.

You can make a jump on the middle part of the train to get onto the other side of the fence. From there, you need to crouch through the cylinders and hollow boxes.

Now, you will see a gap on the right wall from where you have to jump through the acid and its fumes leading to other side of the room.

The wooden platforms going through the train will lead you to Strider. After interacting with Strider, you will have to talk to Lodochka, who will direct you towards the WPS building.

Collect Key From North’s Body And Encounter The Mutants

Head towards the WPS building following Lodochka’s instructions. While you get closer to the building, your quest will update to talking to the survivors.

The survivors are in a small building near the entrance, and they will explain to you about the mutants in that area.

They will also ask you to get the key from North at the rooftop. While heading there following the yellow mark you will see a broken floor lasting you jump on the container.

After jumping, you can take another step and head up. At the rooftop, you can see the dead body of North on some pipes below.

Now, you must pick the keys from North’s body and return back to the entrance of the basement.

Follow the sewer path leading to a ladder and reach the basement, where you will encounter the mutants.

Finish The Hot On The Trail Quest Reporting Strider

This is the final battle in the WPS basement, which will end the quest. The battle in this area is one of the toughest.

The mutants will attack with PSI radiation with each attack. These radiations will decrease the HP along with making the screen wobbly.

To defeat these mutants, you will have to hide behind objects and perform heavy attacks on them.

Now, you will have to exit the basement through the hallway. This hallway will lead you to find the Monolith Stash on your left.

The Monolith Stash will be looted before you reach there, but you will get a few guns and ammo.

You will have to report this back to Strider at the previous location to end the quest.
