Like A Moth To The Flame Sub-mission Walkthrough
The Like a Moth to the Flame mission begins when you try to enter Camp Icarus.
To gain entry, players must show the guard the Ward Badge, a permit obtained from Korshunov.
Once you have shown the badge, you can head inside the main building to find the commanding officer.
Meeting Captain Senkevych In Camp Icarus In Stalker 2
After entering the main building, head to the third floor by climbing two sets of stairs.
Further, speak to the commanding officer, Cpt. Senkevych, and inform him about the presence of a mole within the organization.
Once you have finished your conversation, locate and speak to Dr. Kryvenko, who will assign you the task of gathering data readings from three Scanning antennas.
Collecting Data From Scanning Antennas
The first antenna is located west of the main building, at the base of the circular storage tower.
The second antenna sits on top of the brick watchtower, which is located to the east of Camp Icarus.
Meanwhile, the third antenna sits on a rooftop northeast of Camp Icarus, near a large pipeline.
Notably, this final antenna lies farther from the camp compared to the other two.
After successfully collecting all the data from these antenna, return to Dr. Kryvenko and talk to him.
Investigating The Saturn Bunker Area In Stalker 2
At this point, Dr. Kryvenko will direct you to explore the Saturn Bunker Area to locate and inspect the psi-beacon.
The bunker entrance is in the southwestern corner of Camp Icarus. Upon entering, you must descend into the tunnels beneath Icarus.
While navigating the tunnels, you will eventually encounter the psi-beacon. At this stage, you can either destroy it or inspect and deactivate it.
We recommend inspecting and turning off the psi-beacon instead of destroying it.
Finally, after inspecting the psi-beacon, leave the area and return to Dr. Kryvenko.
This completes the “Like a Moth to the Flame” quest, a crucial part of the Dead Frequency main mission.
