Activate The Relic Altar To Enter Trial Of Sekhemas In POE 2

Path of Exile 2 is an action RPG featuring a new seven-act campaign, enhanced graphics, revamped systems, and dynamic skill customization.

In Act Two, you journey through Wraeclast, exploring the Vastiri Desert and completing a variety of engaging quests.

Players can ascend by completing either the Trial of the Sekhemas or the Trial of Chaos in the game.

Defeat Balbala To Unlock The Trial Of Sekhemas

In Act 2, as you explore the Vastiri Plains, you’ll uncover the Trial of the Sekhemas, one of the two paths to Ascendancy.

Before entering the trial, you must first defeat Balbala the Traitor, who awaits in the Traitor’s Passage.

Defeat the Balbala boss to obtain Balbala’s Barya, a special coin required to activate the Relic Altar and access the trial in POE 2.

Discover The Trial Of Sekhemas In POE 2

To begin the Trial of Sekhemas, place Balbala’s Barya on the Relic Altar, activating the trial in POE 2.

The trial differs from regular gameplay in that you have Honour, which depletes each time you take damage, like the health bar.

Unlike health, you can’t use potions to restore Honour. Instead, you must access special shrines throughout the run.

Each room presents a specific challenge, introducing new obstacles, including potentially deadly traps.

After completing each room, interact with the Trial Map to choose which room to proceed to next.

Defeat Rattlecage To Achieve Ascendancy

In the final room of the trial, you will encounter Rattlecage the Earthbreaker, the only obstacle between you and Ascendancy.

Listen to Balbala, as he will guide you in battle. When he tells you to stand clear, keep your distance from the enemy.

As he enters the arena, he performs a triple explosion AOE attack, with each explosion affecting a larger area.

Defeating the boss will unlock the Altar of Ascendancy, allowing you to choose your Ascendancy and open the exit.
