NYT Connections Hints And Solutions With Yew Meaning For 23 December

The NYT Connections mostly contain different words to categorize but rarely consist of images.

Players must separate them into four groups, each containing four words where they must share something similar.

Each group is represented by a different color: the easiest is Yellow, and the toughest is Purple.

There are only four attempts, so players must choose words wisely to form a group. Unable to complete the puzzle in limited attempts will reveal the answers.

Crew And Ewe Meaning In Today’s (December 23) NYT Connections

Beginning with today’s NYT Connections, there were 4 single letters in the puzzle. In my first attempt, I formed a group that included those.

I lost the first attempt with only 3 chances remaining, so I started to analyze the puzzle deeply.

There in the puzzle, a few words sounded similar, including U, You, Yew, and Ewe. As NYT keeps on adding Homophones as a group, I picked them instantly.

In my second attempt, I was easily able to sort the Yellow group, whose theme was Homophones.

Now, to move with the second group, I started to look for a word and find other relatable words.

To complete my second group, I picked the word Boat to match with other words. After researching for a while, I found that a boat is a neck design pattern for clothes.

Following the hints, I formed a third group, including the words Crew, Scoop, and V in the category Necklines.

After solving half of the puzzle, I still had 3 chances with 8 words remaining. It was time to sort the third group, which was the last to categorize.

The final group in NYT Connections has only 4 words remaining, and there is no chance of an incorrect attempt.

Grand And Tuesday Meaning In NYT Connections Final Categories

The third category includes words like Grand, K, M, and Thou. This category includes the words representing 1,000.

Although I was able to pick K, M, and Thou, it took me a while to pick Grand as I was unaware of what it represents in today’s Connections.

In the final category, there are words like 8, Bowl, Glue, and Tuesday. These words complete the title of the theme SUPER ___. Were Tuesday referred to as Super Tuesday, a United States presidential primary election day

Luckily, after hustling for a while, I was able to solve the NYT Connections issue on December 23 with the following answers:

  • Homophones (Yellow): Ewe, U, Yew, You
  • Necklines (Green): Boat, Crew, Scoop, V
  • Ways To Express 1,000 (Blue): Grand, K, M, Thou
  • Super___ (Purple): 8, Bowl, Glue, Tuesday
