- To begin the Revenant Slayer quest series in Destiny 2, you must first complete Act 3: Kell of Kells: Bring Hangman’s Flail to the Toinc Laboratory.
- During this questline, you must complete 4 Revenant Slayers Quest twice, first in normal difficulty by defeating bosses, and the second time in Expert difficulty by destroying Illusory Anchors.
- To avoid the potential bug, players must perform Revenant Slayers Questline within the Exotic Mission rather than following what “The Moon” map indicates.
The latest update for Destiny 2, “Revenant Act 3“, was launched on January 7, 2025, introducing new missions.
Destiny 2’s latest Act is scheduled to last until February 4, 2025. During this time, you will have the chance to explore the Kell’s Fall Exotic Mission.
Following the Exotic Mission, you will also find the new questline “Revenant Slayer,” allowing you to obtain the Slayer’s Fang Exotic Shotgun.
Revenant Slayer Questline In Destiny 2
Revenant Slayer is one of the new questlines in Destiny 2 Act 3, which you can unlock after completing Act 3: Kell of Kells’ mission.
The Revenant Slayers Quest series is divided into 4 parts; you must complete each part twice, first in normal difficulty and second time in Expert Difficulty.
Once you have completed the prerequisites for the quest, you will find Revenant Slayers 1 unlocked, where you need to return to Eido in her laboratory.
After interacting with Eido, you can pick up all four Revenant Slayers’ quests and try to complete all of them in one run.
During the first step, you must defeat 20 combatants while they are under the effect of a Tonic Capsule.
You must ensure you complete this questline within the Kell of Kells Exotic Mission, as you might also see the quest mark on The Moon.
Therefore, to avoid potential confusion or bugs, focus on the Kell of Kells mission rather than the Moon map.
After completing the mission in normal difficulty, you can obtain Slayer’s Fang Exotic Shotgun, which can later be upgraded using the catalyst.
Revenant Slayer Quest In Expert Difficulty To Obtain All Four Catalyst
Once you defeat 20 Combatants in each Revenant Slayer questline, you need to restart the mission in Expert Difficulty.
In Expert difficulty, you must destroy four different Illusory Anchors across four locations to complete the four quests.
Mirror Gallery, Fighting Pit, Sanctum, and Throne Room are the locations of four different Illusory Anchors.
To destroy these Anchors, you must equip the Slayer’s Fang Exotic Shotgun that you obtained from the previous quest.
Collect The Catalyst To Enhance Slayer’s Fang Exotic Shotgun
After destroying the anchors, you will receive one catalyst from each, resulting in four. Below is the list of the four catalysts you will obtain:
- Repulsor Brace Refit
- Loose Change Refit
- Stats For All Refit
- Cascade Point Refit
The collected Catalyst can be used to enhance the weapon with unique perks, such as a Repulsor Brace for an overshield and Loose Change for improved ADS movement speed.
