The Lunar New Year Event on Adopt Me! is the latest update, featuring a new event with a limited-time currency called Shooting Stars.
In addition to this new currency, players will also be able to collect Special Stars during the event, which will reward them with the Royal Moon Egg.
Day 12 Special Star In Adopt Me
The Special Star in Adopt Me! is part of the Lunar New Year Event, which you can collect to earn a Royal Moon Egg.
Unlike regular stars, Special Stars have six triangular shapes on their sides, making them more vibrant and easier to spot.
So, if you have followed up on the Royal Moon Egg Event since the first day of its release (February 1st) and have collected all 4 previous Special Stars, then today is the day when you finally get the Royal Moon Egg.
The Special Star for Day 12 (5th February) can be found at the top of the Pet Shop, which you can easily spot via its appearance.
Once you collect this Special Start, you will have 5 Special Stars in total, which you can offer to get the Royal Moon Egg.
However, to hatch the egg and get an exclusive reward, you must wait more than 2 days as the Royal Moon Egg is scheduled to hatch on 7th February 2025.
If you have missed collecting special stars from the previous days, then you still have two more days left to earn the Royal Egg by claiming Special Stars.
All Shooting Stars Locations In Adopt Me For Lunar New Year Event (Day 12)
On Day 12 of the Lunar New Year Event and Day 5 of the Royal Moon Egg Event, you will find 50 Shooting Stars, which you can collect from different locations.
Among all 50 Shooting Stars, you will find 30 in different areas of the Adoption Island, while the remaining 20 are found on the Moon.

Once you have collected all 30 stars from the Adoption Island, you can head toward “The Moon”, to collect remaining 20 Shooting Stars.
On the moon, you will find most of the stars floating along with rocks and a few attached to them, so making a few around the whole area will help you collect all 20 stars.
