Story quests are story-driven challenges in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 that immerse players in the unfolding lore.
The game currently offers six distinct story quests, each with its own set of objectives for players to complete.
In “The Spirit Realm” story quest, players must damage Shogun X and collect his essence in Fortnite.
Discover The Spirit Realm Quests In Fortnite
Players can unlock The Spirit Realm questline after completing the Splinters of Possibility story quests.
The questline features six stages, most of which are straightforward and can be completed in a single game.
In the first stage, you must place three Spirit Charms to investigate the mysterious crater.
The crater, located just north of Twinkle Terrace, contains six Spirit Charms, interact with any three to complete this stage.
Additionally, you need to hit opponents at three different Named Locations. You don’t need to eliminate anyone, just deal damage.
The third task requires you to track the comet’s traces in the mountains by following the markers on the map that lead you to it.
As you approach any of the spots, a small white magnifying glass icon will appear. Get close and interact with it.
After finding the traces, return to Kendo and speak with him; he can be found near the northeast end of Nightshift Forest.
Get close to him and interact with him, then select the Spirit Realm conversation option to proceed.
Damage Shogun X And Collect His Essence In Fortnite
Players can see Shogun X’s marker on the map as soon as they land, but dealing damage to him right away will not work.
Players must wait for Shogun’s Arena to appear and fight Shogun X there instead.
Wait until the second storm circle closes for the arena to appear. When it does, a marker will display it on the map.
Head up to this floating island and deal damage to Shogun X to make him drop some of his essence in Fortnite.
Once the essence appears, grab it. You don’t need to defeat Shogun X—just dealing damage is enough to complete the quest.
Once you have the essence, head to Hope at Hopeful Heights and speak with her. Select the Spirit Realm conversation option to complete the quest.
This will complete the Spirit Realm questline in Fortnite, with each stage rewarding you with 25,000 XP upon completion.
