Discover The “Hot And Cold” Quest In Dreamlight Valley
Speak with Jasmine at friendship level 7 to start the Hot and Cold quest in Dreamlight Valley.
She will ask you to speak with Elsa; use the minimap to locate her current position and find her easily.
When you interact with her, she mentions that a mysterious chest surrounded by unbreakable ice has appeared in her Ice Cavern.
Enter Elsa’s Ice Cavern on the outskirts of Frosted Heights, where you will find her at the back.
Taking Pictures Of The Two Symbols
She explains how to break the unbreakable ice and asks you to take pictures of the symbols found on the pedestals inside her cave.
The two symbols, a snowflake and a sun must be found by players in Frosted Heights and Sunlit Plateau.
Players must find and take five pictures of each symbol in their respective locations.
After clicking images of all the symbols, the quest log will update, instructing you to return to the pedestal in Elsa’s Ice Cavern.
Opening The Secret Chest
Once you enter the cavern, Elsa will not be there, but the two pedestals will be glowing, and the ice will have melted.
Inside the chest, you’ll find the Ice Key, which unlocks the second lock of the secret journal.
Finding The Missing Enchanted Flower
Go to Jasmine and Aladdin’s house, where you’ll be surprised to find the Enchanted Flower missing.
Follow Jasmine to the plaza and search for clues, where you’ll discover a trail of flower petals.
This will lead you to the Giant Willow Tree, where you’ll find the enchanted flower with Mother Gothel.
Confront her to reclaim the flower, then use the Ice Key to open the secret journal.
Doing so will trigger a cutscene where you speak with Jasmine, and the mission will end at the conclusion of the conversation.
