The New York Times Publishers is back with its surprising words in Connections, offering an exciting challenge to the players.

Words like “White Russian” and “Venus de Milo” may pose a challenge, as they can be quite difficult to categorize.
Answers For Today’s NYT Connections (March 10, 2025)
According to Connections Companion No. 638, today’s game has a difficulty level of 3.3 out of 5, making the game quite interesting as well as challenging at the same time.
Despite this high difficulty, I calmly analyzed today’s words and collected the first four: Cheshire Cat, Comedy Mask, Joker, and Mona Lisa.
So, submitting the collected words, I got the “Famous Smiles,” a green group.

Ragamuffin And Turkish Angora Meaning In NYT Connections #638
As I progressed further with the remaining words, I picked words like Sphynx, Russian Blue, Ragamuffin, and Turkish Angora.
Each of the words I collected was related to the Cat Breeds. The Russian Blue is a cat breed with colors that vary from a light shimmering silver to a darker, slate grey.
Likewise, Ragamuffin is a breed of domestic cat notable for their friendly personalities and thick fur.

Meanwhile, Turkish Angora is an ancient, natural breed of cat that originated in central Anatolia (Ankara Province in modern-day Turkey).
Venus De Milo Meaning In NYT Connections #638
After identifying two groups, I quickly analyzed the remaining words in an attempt to determine their categories, but I lost two lives sequentially.
Following the loss of those two lives, I finally got the blue group: “Attractions Iconically Different From Their Original Forms.“

Venus de Milo is an ancient Greek marble sculpture, depicted with a bare torso and drapery over the lower half of her body.
But in today’s Connections game, Venus de Milo is a famous statue that is missing its arms, which were originally part of the sculpture.
