The New York Time Connections for Tuesday, March 18, 2025, is out already, and it has a difficulty rating of 3 out of 5.
Unlike puzzles from previous days, today’s game might not connect words with meaning. Rather, it categorizes them with unique themes.
Words like Angst, Wurst, and Oxen might pose challenges in today’s game, as they seem quite confusing to group together.
Answers For Today’s NYT Connections (March 3, 2025)
Analyzing today’s NYT Connections game, the first four words that crossed my mind were Remarkable, Singular, Special, and Unique.
Each of these words seems to be related to exceptional/significant achievements.
Later, after grouping them, I got the yellow group, “Exceptional,” just like I initially thought.

Moving ahead with the remaining words, I collected words like Shrimp, Squid, Deer, and Sheep, each referring to an animal or organism.
So, when I submitted the words, I got the blue group “Plural Animals Identical To Their Singular Forms.”
Angst And Wurst Meaning In NYT Connections (#646)
Now that I was in the middle of the game, I observed the remaining words and could not find anything that could related to them.
So, I chose to go for Dice, Mice, Lice, and Die (with little confusion). This confusion led me to lose one life.

After losing one life, submitted, Angst, Wurst, Die, and Kinder (as my friend suggested) led me to the green group of German words.
Angst in Angst is a German-origin word that means a feeling of anxiety, apprehension, or insecurity.
Meanwhile, Wurst means German or Austrian sausage, a type of meat product usually made from ground meat.
