Choosing Between It Will Be Fine Or It’s Dangerous In AC Shadows
Head to the objective section, where you’ll find the League Board. The quest will be listed under the Tomiko section.

The quest will automatically appear after completing “Heads Will Roll” and defeating the second Onryo target.
In your hideout, you can find Tomiko sitting next to the workbench. Approach her and talk to her.
A cutscene plays in which Tomiko reveals that the league received a message from Akechi Mitsuhide.

Akechi Mitsuhide, the daimyo of Oda Nobunaga, has invited you to meet him at Katano Castle.
During the conversation, players must choose between two dialogue: “It will be fine” or “It’s dangerous” in AC Shadows.

Choosing either option will have no impact on the quest or story progression.
Meeting Akechi Mitsuhide
After the cutscene, head to Katano Castle, where you’ll receive the following hints about Mitsuhide’s location.
- He is in Settsu
- He is in Katano Castle
Use the fast travel point at Katano Castle to enter, then activate Eagle Vision and look to the north of the castle.

The blue quest marker will indicate Akechi Mitsuhide’s location within the castle.
Since you have been invited to Katano, guards won’t attack you after entering the castle.
Enter the building, pass through a couple of doors, and you’ll reach the main room where a cutscene triggers.

The daimyo wants Naoe’s help killing Oda Nobunaga and claims that Nobunaga is secretly The Horseman, who leads the Onryo.
Players have two dialogue options during the conversation, but both lead to the same outcome.
The quest “Friend of My Enemy” ends after the cutscene and immediately transitions into the quest “Belly of the Beast.“
