HIGHLIGHTS
- The Beach Raft Volleyball mini-game in Expedition 33 is part of the Gestral Games challenge, located at Gestral Beach during Act 2.
- Within this mini-game, you need to destroy enemy platforms with your attacks while defending your own.
- Players have found the strongest level quite unfair, as pressing the hit key does not seem to shoot, while their own raft is destroyed in 3 hits.
Like many other RPGs, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 also features a few mini-games that offer exclusive rewards.
These mini-games are scattered around the different regions of the map, including Gestral Beach.
Gestral Beach is one of the locations where you will find many mini-games, including the Beach Raft Volleyball and the Gestral Quiz.
Beach Raft Volleyball In Expedition 33 Act 2
Beach Raft Volleyball is one of the mini-games at the General Beach, which is accessible during Expedition 33 Act 2.
Once you have unlocked this region, you can fast travel to the beach area and then interact with the giant Gestral to participate in the challenges.

The Gestral Beach offers four different mini-games, including Volleyball, Racing, and Two Climbing games, each offering unique rewards.
To start the Beach Raft Volleyball, you must interact with the Gestral Giant, located right before the beach.
Destroy The Gestral Platform To Earn Rewards
Once you interact with the Gestral, he will offer you three different levels of Beach Raft Volleyball. We recommend that you choose the easiest one first.
Your main objective within this challenge is to use R1/RB to hit a dummy back at the Gestral and destroy its platform.

During the first stage, players can take certain hits, giving them the time to destroy the Gestral Raft in a few attempts.
Each difficulty level comes with its own exclusive rewards:
- Weakest: Resplendent Chroma Upgrade Material
- Normal: Swimsuit II for Lune
- Strongest: Swimsuit for Sciel
While you can somehow complete the first and second stages by making a few attempts, the strongest level is unfair and nearly impossible to complete.

The devs have not officially confirmed any bug with the strongest level, but there might be an issue with this, as the player raft cannot take more than 3 hits.
Nevertheless, a handful of players have completed the strongest level without taking any hits, which seems to be an expectation, or let’s say, luck.
To ensure you are part of that handful of players, you must make a few attempts, start from the easy ones, and try to hit when Gestral is near a raft.
