Dune: Awakening is an open-world multiplayer survival MMO, on the desert planet Arrakis.
In Dune: Awakening, Moisture Sealed Cave is a special location that provides shelter and valuable resources.
These caves are blocked by a sticky, fabric-like barrier called a Moisture Seal. To enter, you need to cut through this barrier using a simple tool.
Locate The Moisture Sealed Cave
In Dune: Awakening, you need to locate the Moisture Sealed Cave near rocky areas or landmarks in the starting zone, Haga Basin South.
On your map, they may be marked or pointed out during quests.
The entrance to these caves has a puffy, gooey fabric barrier. Significantly, this is the moisture seal you need to break.
If you are on the quest “Echoes of the Past“, it will help guide you to the right cave.

Craft A Scrap Metal Knife
Once you find the cave, the next step is to gather materials to craft a tool called the Scrap Metal Knife.
Near the cave entrance, look around for a corpse or some debris that contains Salvaged Metal.
You can pick up the Salvaged Metal by pressing the interact button (usually E).
After collecting the metal, open your crafting menu by pressing B.

In the menu, you will see the option to craft the Scrap Metal Knife using the Salvaged Metal you found.
Nevertheless, this knife is the only tool you need to cut through the moisture seal.
Cut Through The Moisture Seal
After crafting the Scrap Metal Knife, equip it from your hotbar and approach the moisture seal at the cave entrance.
Then, hold down the attack button (usually left mouse button) to slash through the barrier.
It may take a few seconds, but after cutting the seal, the gooey fabric will disappear, and you can enter the cave.

Inside the cave, you will find dew flowers that you can harvest for water by pressing E.
The cave may also contain other useful resources, quest items, or even hostile NPCs, so be cautious.
Additionally, caves serve as a good shelter from the harsh desert sun, helping you manage your hydration and avoid sunstroke.
