Stuck On Connecting Issue In Dune: Awakening
While the game is breaking records on Steam, issues and bugs are common for this massive game, Dune: Awakening.
After the Patch (1.1.0.0) Update on June 13, 2025, players have been facing the stuck on connecting issues in several servers.
Initially, the issue began with Lernaeus; at the time, it was believed to be because of the maintenance, but the issue persisted after the maintenance and spread to other servers as well.
I understand technical issues with new games, but I’m disappointed with @DuneAwakening. They had Conan Exiles and Age of Conan to learn online game management.

Vela, Sietch Tharwa, Sietch Tabr, and Lernaeus are the few servers that have been stuck upon connecting for several hours, hampering players’ gameplay.

While the developers are aware of the existing issue, they have assured players that it will be resolved soon.

Until the official patch is out, you can try a few minor changes on your side to overcome the existing issues.
- Disable Malwarebytes/ VPN (if used)
- Verify server status
- Disable the firewall or antivirus
- Try changing Servers
You might not be able to play your main characters by changing servers, but still being stuck on connecting is better than trying out something new.
