HIGHLIGHTS
- As today’s Strand’s Theme is Tech Accessories, you have to find items that can be used while using an iPad (or other mid-sized gadget, which is slightly bigger than a phone).
- The Spangram for today is just six characters long, starting and ending with the letter “T.”
- SP, ST, CA, CH, KE, FO, and ST are the first two letters of the seven remaining answers of today’s connections.
Today marks a significant milestone, namely the 500th day since Strands’ game was first released.
Unlike most strands’ editions, the theme for today is relatively straightforward, even though the number of words to find is eight.
As the theme for today is Tech Accessories, you literally have to find the items used in one of the gadgets.
Tech Accessories Meaning In NYT Strands (July 16, 2025)
If you want to find the answers quickly in today’s edition, consider using a few tools that can be both external and internal, such as those found in gadgets.
For today, if you get the first words, the others will automatically come through, as the difficulty seems to be on the lower side, and they are quite related.

Here is the list of Answers for today’s NYT Strands;
- SPEAKER
- STYLUS
- CASE
- CHARGER
- KEYBOARD
- FOLIO
- STAND
- TABLET (Spangram)

While I mentioned earlier that the answers could be both internal and external tools, due to the Speaker and Keyboard, I feel the Strands editor may have used the word ‘external’ to refer to both, as they represent both.
Also, for players struggling to get that first word can always use a hint.
If you feel like trying other games from the Publication, you can try Connections, Wordle, Spelling Bee, Crossword, and Many More.
My personal favorite always has been Connections, while you can pick wordle to play if you have less time to spend.
