- You can start the Paper Crane side quest in Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate from Assimilated Easement by taking the subway station.

Paper Crane Side Quest In Destiny 2
To start the Paper Crane side quest, track the quest from the World map, and then make your way toward the Assimilated Easement.
Once in the area, take a U-turn and follow the upper path that leads you towards the Subway portal.
After taking the Subway, follow the marker and head toward the active quest area, which will activate the Paper Crane quest with the first objective to investigate a radiolaria pool containing dark matter.
Following the first objective, you will encounter a new one where you must defeat the three Vex guarding the pool area.
Search The Stacks To Get Clues About Aionian’s History
Once done with the Vex, you need to make your way to Caldera and search for the specimen that might be feeding on the dark matter.
In Caldera, you need to defeat some Vex and analyze the flower-like items, which will instantly lead you to the new objective that takes you to The Stacks.
Once in the Stacks, make your way to the cave and then follow the marker to locate the laser gate, which you can unlock by inputting Aionian Command.
Locate The Shrine
The gate will lead you to the area filled with dark matter, scan it, and then the next objective will appear, where you need to find the Shrine.
To unlock the Shrine, you must first kill the Brig in the middle and then deposit the arch charger/orb, which will open the new room.
Inside the room, you will find a small, pole-like shrine covered with a red paper-like structure. Just interact with it to complete the quest.
