2XKO Alpha Displaying Black Screen And Not Working Issues

Valorant test phase was not as buggy!

HIGHLIGHTS

  • You can overcome Black screen or loading issues in the 2XKO Alpha PC test by disabling administrator settings.
  • Rebooting the device or re-launching the Riot Vanguard (Anti-cheat) can fix the test phase issues.
  • If you are facing other bugs or need technical help, try signing in to your Riot account and submitting a Ticket.

2XKO, previously known as Project L, is Riot Games’ upcoming 2v2 Team-based Fighting Game.

The Fighting game will launch in 2025, and Riot has launched an Alpha Lab testing for multiple platforms.

Unfortunately, many 2XKO Alpha users are facing problems, including crashes, black screens, and screen freezes.

2XKO Black Screen And Loading Issues

Complications in the early testing phase, especially Alpha, are not new for any multiplayer games.

However, it can be frustrating to receive limited codes and not be able to play a single game.

Riot also released a minor patch for the Alpha, but players still face numerous issues while accessing the game.

If you are facing similar issues, it can be due to graphics cards, unoptimized settings, or unclosed apps. Here are a few troubleshoots that can help you overcome the issues;

Disabling Administrator Settings

Turning off the Administration is the most effective and straightforward solution for loading or black screen issues. Follow the steps to disable the settings;

  • Right-click the 2XKO game icon
  • Click the Properties and Compatibility Mode
  • Disable Run this program as an administrator

Reboot Device And Re-enable Vanguard

If you are facing PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5 issues, you should relaunch the game or later reboot the device.

Riot has a strict policy for cheaters or hacks, so you should also ensure you have installed Vanguard properly before launching the 2XKO.

However, if you already have other Riot Games, such as Valorant or League of Legends, you can try re-enabling Vanguard, but re-boot is essential.

Update Drivers

  • Open the Control Panel on your PC
  • Click Device Manager
  • Navigate to Display Adapters
  • Right Click and Update the Graphics Driver

Disable Background Apps

You can also try disabling the Steam client if you are facing controller issues. For the controller, you should head to Button Configuration and switch to Pad A.

Moreover, if you still face fullscreen and game launch issues, you can send a ticket to Riot Games, mentioning the issue.
