God of War Ragnarok, a 2022 action-adventure game, finally debuted on PC on September 19, 2024, following its initial release on PS 4&5.
Players will get new exciting features on PC, including enhanced graphics, support for ultrawide monitors, and improved performance.
However, players have expressed frustration following its PC release as the game does not seem to support systems with only 4GB of VRAM.
God Of War Ragnarok Will Not Support 4GB VRAM
Finally, after nearly seven years, God of War Ragnarok is available on PC with some new and exciting features.
The PC version of this action-adventure game will support ultrawide monitor and improved performance with technologies like NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR.
Unfortunately, the game does not seem to support systems with only 4GB of VRAM, preventing players from exploring the game without upgrading their hardware.
Players are frustrated because other massive games, such as Black Myth: Wukong and Red Dead Redemption 2, support systems with 4GB of VRAM.
Very interesting! This game won’t run on GTX 1650 while AlanWake2 and Wukong run on this GPU and what’s worse is that the game runs on PS4 with ease! I’m starting to get disappointed with Sony!😤👎#GodofWarRagnarok ,#PS5,#PC,#Videogames pic.twitter.com/lb3Gv7TSD6

Additionally, the game runs smoothly on PS4 with less powerful hardware, which adds to PC players’ frustration and disappointment.
Since the developers have officially made this decision, players must upgrade to a graphics card with at least 6GB of VRAM to fully enjoy God of War Ragnarok on PC.
