Upon entering, you must clear several rooms of enemies to progress. There are several exploding ants present avoid killing them near your teammates.
Next, you have to destroy the egg to summon the Giant Mutant Acid Ant. Make sure to dodge the green acid and block its Fury attack to avoid being pulled in.
Defeating Lequirus In Throne And Liberty
Lequirus will summon two ants, one red and one blue, along with a corresponding color-marked area.
Players gain attack buffs and access to the marked area if they defeat Ants whose color matches with the marked area’s color.
When Lequirus uses its AoE attack, a text will appear above its head. You should then move toward the marked area, where a pillar will spawn.
Standing on this pillar will then launch you upwards, so you can avoid taking damage from the AoE attack.
Afterward, a Gem Ant will appear. If you are in the air you can glide yourself toward the platforms where Gem Ant is located.
Lequirus will continuously use ranged attacks until the Gem Ant has been defeated.
To defeat Lequirus, continuously attack it while dodging its mechanics and avoiding its powerful strikes.
Lequirus’ Larva Mechanic
When the Lequirus’ HP falls below 50%, it will release a larva onto each party member.
Two players must combine their larvae and then gather the other team member’s larvae.
If the larvae are not dealt with, they will explode, launching the players into the air and causing damage.
Lequirus has additional mechanics to watch out for, including Fury Attack, which tanks should block.
Also, Lequirus will use an AoE slam attack if its aggro is on a player that is out of its melee range. Tanks must consistently draw Lequirus’ aggro and stay close to it.
Conquering the Cave of Destruction rewards players with Training Dew, Dimensional Soul Shard: Lequirus, daggers, wands, and gear.
