Claim Ascendancy Points To Power Up Your Passive In POE 2

In Path of Exile 2, completing the Trials of Ascendancy lets you choose an Ascendancy Class and gain additional passive abilities.

Ascendancies are powerful subclasses that grant you an additional passive tree based on your class.

Multiple Trials are hidden throughout the campaign in POE 2, granting you an Ascendancy Class or providing Ascendancy points.

Trials Of Ascendancy In POE 2

You can unlock your Ascendancy Class by completing any of the three Trials of Ascendancy.

The three Trials of Ascendancy in Path of Exile 2 are:

• Trial of the Sekhemas
• Trial of Chaos
• Unknown (Not available in early access)

You can discover the Trial of Sekhemas in Act 2, where you will face a series of challenge rooms and bosses.

It is the best choice for unlocking your Ascendancy Class and gaining your first two Ascendancy points as quickly as possible in POE 2.

Skipping the trial will leave you without notable skills and passives for a significant amount of time until Act 3 or 4.

In Act 3, while exploring the Vaal Jungle, you can discover the Temple of Chaos. Obtain a key from the Trialmaster to access the Trial of Chaos.

In each chamber, you must choose one of three Tribulations, that persist for the rest of the run.

Each time you complete a room, another Tribulation is added to your Trial, raising the stakes as you progress.

Earn More Ascendancy Points In POE 2

You unlock additional sets of 2 Ascendancy Points by completing the same trials on higher difficulty levels.

These higher-difficulty Trials come with increased challenges and additional bosses. They reward you with passives until you have 8 of them.

To access these higher-difficulty Trials, you need to find Trial Keys, which drop randomly.

You can complete any combination of Trials to earn your 8 Passives, but you can claim only 2 Ascendancy Points per difficulty level.
