Astro Bot is Sony’s latest platform game, released on just a single Platform: PlayStation 5 on September 6, 2024.
The Astro Playroom’s sequel resembles Sony’s other projects, including LittleBigPlanet and Sackboy: A Big Adventure, which featured popular protagonist “Sackboy.”
If you love the duo Astro Bot and Sackboy, you may get to experience another collaboration between Sumo Digital and Team Asobi.
SackBoy Features As A Bot In Astro Bot
Back in March 2024, Sackboy: A Big Adventure collabed with the sequel by featuring an Astro Bot Costume in the DLC.
Most of the fans were surprised by the collaboration, and as Astro Bot’s release date approached, they hoped for yet another comprise.
On the same day of Astro Bot’s Launch, Sackboy: A Big Adventure | LittleBigPlanet Official page hinted at another collab.
While there were no additional announcements on official pages, whether players were getting cosmetic items or A Big Adventure’s map, many players figured out the hint.
SackBoy As Cameo Bot
SackBoy is only featured as a Cameo Bot and will not get any cosmetic items. The Character is classified as “Knitted Kid- Such A Crafty Little Guy” in Astro Bot.
However, you can still find the SackBoy with other Bot names in Astro Bot depending upon the level and Galaxy.
Meanwhile, the SackBoy bot is randomized for every player; you will likely encounter the bot on higher levels.
Thankfully, you can still find the Sackboy as a VIP Bot alongside Papercraft Postie in Luna Sola, and additionally a few Fall Guys bots as well.
You can also find Sackboy in Final Encore, one of the levels in the Lost Galaxy, while you Push Buttons and Solve Puzzle Pieces.
