Fine Gold Thread is one of the legendary crafting materials used to upgrade general armor in Wukong alongside Mountain-Shaking Claw.
Fine Gold Thread Locations In Black: Myth Wukong
To find the Fine Gold Thread, you should initially reach Chapter 4 and unlock the Verdune Bridge in the Webbed Hollow.
From the Shrine, you should head towards the small wooden bridge and move towards the left direction.
While you are passing through the area, a small cut scene will trigger, showing you the direction of Chests filled with valuable loot.
If you head to the room filled with Spider webs at the entrance, you will find a couple of Treasure boxes containing;
- Fine Gold Thread x2
- Cold Iron Leaves x3
- Refined Iron Sand x3
- Fragrant Jade Flower x3
- Xiang River Goddess Gourd x1
- Enhanced Ginseng Pellets Medicine x1
- Enhanced Ginseng Pellets Formula x1
For the Chapter 4 progression, you can also battle Elder Amourworm Boss at the other exit, close by the Cliff.
You will receive a Proton-Amourworm (a key item) after beating the boss, which certainly shouldn’t be an issue.
Obtain Fine Gold Thread From Boss Drops
Besides the Chests, you can also obtain the Fine Gold Thread by defeating one of Chapter 3’s secret bosses in Black Muth Wukong.
Moreover, the Fine Gold Thread’s Lore is “Twisted and spun from delicate gold foil, this gold thread is a fortune in itself. This can be used to craft armor”.
To find the boss, Cyan Loong, you should head to Turtle Island in the New West.
Other bosses, including Son of Stones, Buddha’s Right-Hand, and Gold Armoured Rhino, also drop the Fine Gold Thread.
