Black Myth: Wukong Cicada Transformation
In Black Muth Wokong, you will mainly acquire transformations after beating the area bosses.
The transformations assist you in getting past the location quickly or help you defeat your upcoming enemies.
Cicada is a non-combat-based transformation; the Destined Once can be used for Stealth and sneak around.
The transformation feature changes you to a small form and is excellent for avoiding optional bosses, as it allows players to get past enemies without battling them.
Unlike other transformations, you won’t need to beat enemies for Cicada. You will automatically be transformed into one in Outside the Forest Shrine.
However, to reach the area, you should initially complete the tutorial and beat Erlang, the Sacred Divinity.
Once you complete the Prologue, you can start “The Forest of Wolves,” where you will encounter Bullguard, Guangzhi, and Lingxuzi.
Golden Cicada Transformation In Black Myth: Wukong
When you leave the area and are about to head to the next Shrine, you will be transformed into a Golden Cicada.
Just close to the rest Shrine, you will face Wandering Wight, which can be avoided easily due to your stealth appearance.
However, you should try initiating a fight after the duration ends (keep an eye on the meter duration) or de-transform yourself for the rewards.
You will get over 1000 XP, 3 Yarn, 761 Will, Cat’s Eye Breads, and Blood of the Iron Bull.
Besides Cicada, you will also find other transformations, including Massive Gray Feline, Poison Claw, and Stone Skull Head, each with unique abilities.
