Black Myth: Wukong offers you tons of crafting materials for armor and weapons and cultivates spirits.
While some crafting materials, including Yarn and Stone spirit, are uncommon and relatively more straightforward to find, you will also require rare, mythic, and legendary ones during progression.
Silk is one of the rare crafting materials for general armor, commonly found during mid-game, but you can get a couple of them in the first Chapter as well.
Black Myth: Wukong Silk In Chapter 1
Crafting materials are crucial in Black Myth: Wukong to give you an extra protection buff while facing bosses or normal enemies.
A faster progression will grant you exclusive rewards as well, but you must focus on your build.
For instance, if you want to craft a Bronze Armor in Chapter 1 to immobilize your enemies, you will require a couple of Silk, Wills, and Yarn.
You can also craft other items, including Bronze Monkey Mask, Ebongold Armguard, Bull King Armor, and Ebongold Gaiters, using silk.
Unlike other Chapters, finding Silk in crates/chests is quite difficult. Nonetheless, defeating the bosses, Yaoguai Chief and Kings is one way to get the item.
If you beat the enemies, Bullguard, Guangzhi, Guangmou, Black Wind King, Red Loong or other bosses in the first Chapter, you will probably get Silk as a drop.
Among the bosses, Elder Jinshi and Red Loong (Chapter 1 Secret Boss) have a high chance of dropping Silk.
Buy Silk From Shrine Store From Chapter 1’s Secret Area
As the chance of getting the item is extremely low, you can try two silks from the Grand Chamber Shrine Store in the Ancient Guanyin Temple (Secret Area). You can get Silk for 600 Will each.
If you have found three bells across the Black Wind Mountain, you will automatically teleport to Chapter 1’s secret area.
Players who somehow manage to get past the first Chapter will also be rewarded with a few Silks.
Moreover, after reaching Chapter 2, the Silk drop rate will vastly increase, helping you in crafting Armor pieces.
