Objective Of Finding The Xu Dog In Black Myth
Xu Dog will ask you to defeat a frog boss named Lang-Li-Guhh-Baw, which is located in a shallow pond near the cave exit. This boss has various attacks, such as:
- Tongue Lash: The frog swipes its tongue in a sweeping motion. To avoid this attack, players should roll away or perform perfect dodges.
- Rear Leg Kicks: If you are positioned behind the frog, it will kick its rear legs, which can deal significant damage.
- Body Slam: The frog jumps towards you and performs a belly slam, which is another attack to watch out for.
Additionally, the boss has a storm attack that creates hazards in the area. As a result, players need to stay mobile and avoid standing in dangerous spots.
Overall, while challenging, the frog boss is manageable with careful observation of its attack patterns.
Completing The Quest
Once you successfully defeat Lang-Li-Guhh-Baw, you will receive a recipe that you must return to Xu Dog.
He will express his gratitude and reward you with a craftable potion. After this interaction, Xu Dog will mention that he is moving to a new location to continue his work.
After completing the quest, Xu Dog unlocks the ability to craft Celestial Medicines at the Keeper’s Shrines.
These medicines provide permanent stat enhancements, such as increased health, mana, and stamina, which are essential for progressing through the game.
