Zhu Bajie Boss In Black Myth: Wukong
Zhu Bajie is one of the boss characters in Black Myth: Wukong. You can fight the boss. The fight is divided into three phases, each presenting unique challenges for players.
Phase 1
Begin the fight using the spell Pluck of Many to summon clones and cast Immobilize to freeze Zhu Bajie.
You should also follow up with a quick-attack combo. Afterward, summon the Wandering Wight spirit to stagger him.
Lastly, finish with a Cloud Step followed by a Transformation attack. This sequence should deplete the boss’s health quickly.
Phase 2
After Zhu Bajie breaks through a wall, you must engage him again; thus, rest at the nearby shrine to recharge your mana before continuing.
The Character boss will have a new health bar, and the goal is to bring him below 50% health, which will trigger a cutscene.
Significantly, use the same spell combo as in Phase 1, dodging his initial attacks before summoning your clones.
Phase 3
The phase 3 is significantly more difficult. Zhu Bajie transforms into a boar and then into various mud monsters, including rhinos and large fish-like creatures.
These attacks deal massive damage, and the mud affects your dodging speed. Hence, Focus on evading his attacks until he reverts to his boar form; at this point, he becomes vulnerable.
You should also Immobilize your Transformation abilities to inflict damage during this window.
As it is crucial to heal if you take damage, so use health boosters and increase the attack or critical chance by using Craving Eyes.
Upon defeating Zhu Bajie, players receive 2603 Will, 2x Fine Gold Thread, a Bloody Stained Needle (key item), and a Jade Moon Rabbit (curio) as rewards.
Zhu Bajie, being a character boss can be crucial during your Chapter progression in the future as well.
