Prestige Mode becomes available to players once they achieve the highest rank in multiplayer gameplay.
Players can earn various impressive rewards from Prestige, but there are several drawbacks, including resetting their level.
Prestige Reset In Black Ops 6
After reaching level 55, players can enter Prestige mode which brings extra rewards and challenges inspired by past Black Ops games.
You can access the Prestige Hub in the Barracks to see your journey, check stats, and preview rewards.
If you choose to Prestige you will get promoted to Prestige 1 but it will also do the following:
- Reset to Player Level 1.
- All Level Unlocks will be relocked and must be unlocked again.
- Your Loadouts will be reset.
- Lifetime stats will remain viewable in the Combat Record, but your stats elsewhere in the game will only show stats for your current Prestige.
However, the following items will remain unlocked or will not be reset:
- Weapon Progression, Camos, and Reticles
- Weapon Builds
- Challenge Progress and Unlocks
- Store and Battle Pass Content
- Zombies GobbleGums
- Operators and Emotes Unlocks
Additionally, any item like a blueprint or a skin you have will remain permanently unlocked through Prestige.
The same goes for any Equipment, Field Upgrades, or Scorestreaks you possess Skins for.
Prestige Rewards And Mastery In Black Ops 6
Along with level Reset in Black Ops 6, Prestige also unlocks exclusive Prestige Rewards, special Prestige Challenges, and an extra XP bonus for completing three Daily Challenges each day.
When you choose to Prestige and unlock Prestige 1, you will immediately receive the following:
- Prestige 1 Icon
- Nacht Raider Weaver Operator Skin
- Access to the Prestige 1 multiplayer and Zombies calling card challenge sets
- One Permanent Unlock
Also, as you start leveling through Prestige 1, you will unlock a unique Prestige reward every 10 levels.
You will need to complete all 10 Prestige Levels to unlock Prestige Master, which includes 1,000 Levels with rewards every 100 Levels.
In Prestige Master, players no longer need resets, and they keep all basic content permanently unlocked, allowing them to focus on mastering the grind.
