HIGHLIGHTS
- Brewing Barrels can be unlocked in the Memetics Tab after you reach Tier 4 Logistics in Once Human.
- You should have pure water and a raw material to craft recipe or items in Brewing Barrel.
- The raw materials may spoil overtime, if you leave the in the Brewing Barrel for too long while making Beer.
Once Human offers various tools and types of machinery for crafting materials for easier progression and survival.
Brewing Barrels is one of the tools that can help players obtain items, including acid and Beer.
However, using the Brewing Barrel is quite tricky as you may not always get the desired product due to its working mechanism.
Brewing Barrel Working Mechanism In Once Human
You can unlock Brewing Barrel after reaching Tier 4 Logistics under the Memetics category.
Brewing Barrels also require an adequate power supply, which can be obtained from sources such as Solar panels, hydro, wind, biomass, and anomaly generators.
Once your machine is ready to work, you should use the crafting materials: Pure Water and Raw materials.
Use Brewing Barrel To Craft Items
The ratio for the Brewing Barrel is 2:1; you can deposit the required materials according to the recipe to get the desired product.
For every item or recipe, you will need enough Pure Water Supply; you can use a Stardust Water Pump in the Polluted Water to collect enough resources.
You can also use a Compact Water Filter to get Pure Water. However, crafting items from almost every machine takes a few minutes to even hours.
If you use Pure Water and Impure Acid (which can be crafted through an Osmosis Water Purifier), you can get Pure Acid through a Brewing Barrel.
Moreover, you can also make a Beer of your choice using corn, wheat, or other grains.
Food Spoiling In Brewing Barrel
If you add two wheat or corn and pure water, Crafting a beer takes approximately 20 minutes.
Having multiple machines to work with can save more time; however, you will require enough crafting materials.
You can also use a large number of crafting materials to brew a large number of beers over time; however, this may not always work.
Even if you put the fresh items in the Barrel, you may eventually get spoiled food after the Brewing process is complete.
You can insert the crafting items in different slots at a time to generate a higher number of beers.
For instance, wheat decays in 4 hours; if you use a higher number of Wheat to craft the Beer and the timer is set to 5 Hours, the Brewery will generate Spoiled Food for that extra hour.
You should use a specific amount of crops, such as wheat or corn, to save time and craft materials. The remaining items can be stored in the fridge for future use.
