Cece And Edie Meaning In NYT Connections For December 3 (#541)

Mafia Boss In NYT!

HIGHLIGHTS

  • The word Cece (C-C) has multiple meaning, including Blind (as per the Bible) and Brazilian slang for “Body Odor,” but in today’s NYT Connections, it refers to “Name That Sounds Like Two Letters,” a purple group.
  • Edie (A-D), Emmy (M-E), and Katie (K-T) are some other words that complete today’s purple group, along with Cece.
  • Sopranos, Familai Nicknames, and Sesame Street Characters are the remaining categories for December 3’s NYT Connections.

Today’s NYT Connections marks the #541 edition of its release. Within this milestone, the game has succeeded in offering a variety of words.

Like always, today’s Connections features 16 words, each with a different meaning and difficult relations.

Laurel and Swoosh were a few difficult words in yesterday’s game, while in today’s NYT Connections, you will find Cece and Edie.

Answers For Today’s NYT Connections With Words Meaning

After closely analyzing today’s NYT Connections words, the first four that crossed my mind were Cuz, Grammy, Mummy, and Pop.

All these words were used in families as a nickname for individuals. With Cuz, referring to Cosins, Pop was for father and Grammy for Grandmother.

So, after grouping out the words, I got the green group, titled “Familial Nicknames.

Carmela And Meadow Meaning In NYT Connections

Moving on with the remaining words, I collected words like Carmela, Meadow, Junior, and Tony, as they all were the characters of the 2007 Drama series “The Sopranos.”

Carmela refers to the “Carmela Soprano,” the wife of Mafia boss Tony Soprano in the HBO Series The Sopranos. Junior refers to Tony’s uncle, Corrado John “Junior” Soprano Jr.

Meanwhile, Meadow refers to the “Meadow Mariangela Soprano” the first-born child of Tony and Carmela Soprano.

Later, after grouping out all Sopranos, I got the yellow group titled “Sopranos.”

Snuffy And Cookie Meaning In NYT Connections

The word “Snuffy” is supercilious or contemptuous, but in today’s Connections, it refers to “Mr. Snuffleupagu,” a character from Sesame Street, a PBS/HBO educational television program.

While Cookie in today’s Connections is not just an edible Cookie that our grandma makes, rather it refers to the “Cookie Monster.” from Sesame Street.

So, with Cookie and Snuffy being two, I picked Count and Oscar to group out, with Count referring to Count von Count and Oscar referring to Oscar the Grouch from the same PBS Show.
