Adopt Me has added an update on February 4, 2025, to its ongoing Lunar New Year event featuring the players traveling to the Moon.

Among several attractions of the update, players can adopt a Royal Moon Egg in Adopt Me, which hatches into one of the eight new species of pets.
Launch To The Moon In Adopt Me
In the Adopt Me update, life exists on the Moon, with new species of pets creating an ecosystem in the new location.
Further, the Gumball Machine is testing the environment of the new location to take the pets to the highest standard.
Players begin searching for the Royal Moon Egg by entering a spaceship on Earth and traveling to the Moon, where the game equips them with Helmets.
Similarly, the Moon’s environment features a low gravity setting, and players can collect the stars using flying pets and craters that launch them to the skies.
While players can purchase the Moon Egg from the Gumball Machine, the Royal Moon Egg requires players to collect Special Stars.
Collect Special Stars For The Royal Moon Egg In Adopt Me
To obtain the Royal Moon Egg, players must collect the Special Stars on the Moon as well as other locations in Adopt Me.
Similarly, the stars are scattered in the location along with normal stars. Players must have at least five Special Stars to adopt the Royal Moon Egg.
The Royal Moon Egg has an enhanced appearance compared to the usual and Moon eggs. The item also possesses a high chance of rare pets among the eight additions.
Moreover, the number of Special Stars available depends on the Day event in Adopt Me. Meanwhile, the Shooting Stars are available easily at each location.
Players can recognize the Special Star from their slightly bigger and purple appearance. After collecting the item, players can claim the Royal Moon Egg.
However, they have to wait until February 7, 2025, to hatch the Royal Moon Egg. Players can also obtain the egg through trading options in Adopt Me.
