Cult Of The Lamb has just released its second-biggest update for 2024, Unholy Alliance, and a new DLC: Pilgrim Pack.
With the free update, you can play as a Goat or join co-op for a better multiplayer experience on every platform.
Surprisingly, the coming 2024 Cult of the Lamb still only offered Local co-op, which can be frustrating for players without the Remote Play feature.
Use Steam Remote Play In Cult Of The Lamb
With the August update in Cult of the Lamb, you can perform rituals, farm resources, or clear dungeons with your friends.
Unfortunatley, you should be physically present next to your friends/teammates, whether on Nintendo Switch or Xbox.
Even if you play the local co-op, you have to play on a split screen, which should only be viable with a decent screen size.
You can play with your friends if you have Steam’s Remote Play feature, as the crossplay feature is yet to be introduced.
Unfortunatley, the feature is only applicable if both users have the Remote Play. You can enable the Remote Play by following the process;
- Launch Steam and head to Settings
- Under the Steam Settings, search for Remote Play
- Turn on the Enable Remote Play option
- Launch Cult of the Lamb
- Invite your friends for Remote Play
Cult Of The Lamb Steam Remote Play Issue
Even with the feature, many Steam players face issues, including crashes or double screens, when opting for multiplayer mode.
Massive Monsters should soon release a hotfix for the issue; until then, players can try relaunching the game/Steam or reenabling Remote Play.
If the issue still persists, players can opt for Parsec for online gameplay instead of Steam Remote Play.
