Heliber is a boss in the Specter’s Abyss dungeon in Throne and Liberty.
This dungeon is the first Dimensional Circle dungeon where players face unique challenges and enemies.
As the loyal guardian of Syleus’s ancient underground lab, Heliber poses a formidable challenge with his distinctive mechanics and lethal abilities.
Abilities Of Heliber In Throne And Liberty
In order to overcome the boss Heliber in Throne and Liberty, a player must use strategy, coordination with teammates, and knowledge of fight mechanics.
Heliber is a final boss in Specters Abyss with a good set of strong attacks and specific features in gameplay. The boss has three main abilities that players must face during the fight:
Cone Attack: Heliber makes a large frontal attack by spinning his staff and bringing it down on the ground. Thus, players should position themselves to avoid it by moving out of its path.
Area of Effect (AOE) Attack: He casts an AOE-targeted spell that can be blocked or dodged. Players have to pay much attention and stand by for this entire attack and try to escape as soon as possible to avoid huge losses.
Stacking Mechanic: Heliber draws a dark bubble around a player, and every other player has to stack inside it. If players do not manage to group together, both of the marked players will take too much damage, leading to a wipe.
Strategy For Defeating Heliber
Players should position themselves on one side of Heliber to absorb damage from his frontal attacks.
The tank should turn Heliber away from the group to prevent collateral damage from his cone attacks.
Further, they should stay on the opposite side to maximize damage output while avoiding unnecessary hits.
Additionally, players must communicate effectively when Heliber targets someone with his stacking mechanic.
Hence, players should start by pulling the boss and ensuring that everyone is aware of their roles.
As Heliber prepares for his cone attack, the tank should maneuver him away from the party.
When Heliber initiates his AOE attack, players need to be ready to dodge or block effectively.
Contrarily, when a player is marked with the dark bubble, all team members must quickly move into the bubble to share damage.
