Dill And Kosher Meaning In NYT Connections #516 (8 November)

Nearly Lost!

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Kosher is food made by satisfying the requirements of Jewish law, but in today’s NYT Connections, it is included in the “Kinds of Pickle” category that aligns with its meaning.
  • Dill, Sour, and Sweet are other remaining words that complete today’s Green group along with Kosher.
  • The remaining categories in 8th November NYT Connections are ESCAPADE Escapade, RISQUE Risque, and Cut The _____.

As usual, today’s NYT Connections game includes 16 words, but it’s a bit unusual because all the words are single, which is rare.

In previous games, words like “Hash, Dial, Poem, Novel, Biped, and Yardstick” were quite tricky for me.

Today’s NYT Connections also features similarly challenging words, such as Kosher, Dill, and Cord.

November 8’s NYT Connections Answers With Kosher And Dill Meaning

After closely analyzing today’s NYT Connections words, I could not find a single group in my first attempt.

I was a bit frustrated after losing the first attempt without getting the right group. Later, after carefully looking for words with meaning, I discovered the green group.

I was sure about Sweet and Sour but confused about Spicy and one remaining word. So, after checking out the meanings of other similar words, I discovered Dill and Kosher.

Kosher is basically a food item made by satisfying the requirements of Jewish law. Meanwhile, Dill is an herb sometimes used in pickles.

So, with this observation, I got my first green group with words like Dill, Kosher, Sour, and Sweet in the title ” Kinds of Pickles.”

Kosher was not the word I had heard before.

Progressing further with the remaining words, I got the easiest yellow group in the “Escapade” category, with words like Antic, Caper, Exploit, and Stunt.

All Answers For Today’s NYT Connections

Now that only 8 words remained, I was still stuck in the game, as I could not complete the remaining group.

So, after taking a few hints from my friend, I got the purple group “Cut The _____” title with words like CheeseCordDeck, and Mustard.

The purple group was tough, as usual.

After losing 3 attempts and taking help from a friend, I was able to complete today’s NYT Connections with the following answers;

  • Kinds Of Pickles (Green): Dill, Kosher, Sour, Sweet
  • Escapade (Yellow): Antic, Caper, Exploit, Stunt
  • Cut The_____ (Purple): Cheese, Cord, Deck, Mustard
  • Risque (Blue): Suggestive, Blue, Spicy, Adult

Unlike the previous day’s puzzle, today’s seemed a bit tougher. If you enjoy playing Connections, you can also try the NYT’s other word games like Crossword and Strands.
