Wuthering Waves offers pet animals and grants plenty of pet-related main, exploration quests, and even main quests.
“Listen To Animals’ Words” Words and “The Past Is The Future” are a few sidequests involving the Dogs.
Moreover, to complete all three “Listen To Animals’ Words” quests, players have to act as translators for not only the Dog but for the Rabbit and Cat as well.
“Listen To Animals’ Words: Translation Of Dog’s Language” Quest In Wuthering Waves
The starting location of “Translation Of Dog’s Quest” is Jinzhou’s southwest, where players have to interact with Xuanyin.
After fast-traveling to the location, players will see the researcher playing with two Doberman Pinschers and three Shiba Inu dogs.
Right after you interact with the NPC, the dogs will flee to another location near Jinzhou.
Xuanyin will ask to find the puppies’ traces through the Sensor so players can quickly launch the Utility Section or use Tab to use the Sensor.
The Sensor will scan the surroundings and track the dogs, which should be within a 100m radius. You can use the tracer and follow the icon to find the dogs.
The dogs will be seen playing with two strangers, and if you navigate through, you can get a “Let’s play! Let’s play!” translation from the dog’s language.
Players can interact with Xyauyin to share the dog’s language translation and collect the following rewards;
- Union EXP x20
- Astrite x10
- Medium Resonance Potion
- Medium Energy Core
- Shell Credit x6000
Translation of Cat’s Language
The starting location for Cat’s Language is Jinzhou, and the quest provider is Xuanyin.
To understand Cat’s language, players should make milky fish soup in the kitchen just above the two staircases.
Players will need three ingredients to make the soup for the cat;
- Fish
- Angelica
- Perilla
Once the cooking is done, players can deliver the food to Xuanyin and end the dialogue to complete the quest.
Translation Of Rabbit’s Language
The location for Rabbt’s Language Quest is North of Jinzhou in the Hualong Area. Players will again meet Xuanyin, who seems to spy on Green Rabbit this time around.
Xuanyin asks for a Pearl Leaf to initiate her research on Rabbit, which is yellowish and relatively bigger in size.
The quest item is found in the area just above Xuanyin, across the Ox’s location, with a few blue flowers.
Players can deliver the leaf to the researcher to complete the quest and get the exact reward as of Dog’s Translation.
