The Dueling Geniuses Side Quest in Mario & Luigi: Brothership involves interacting with characters Technikki and Adaphne to craft new boots
Players can start the quest by talking to Adaphne on Jellyfish Island. Her location is indicated by the cloud-like symbol on the map.
Adaphne is an NPC in this RPG who seems to have a soft spot for Luigi and will tell him about her plan.
She plans to craft some boots, for which she will need 3 Zokket Alloys. She will ask Luigi to help collect crafting materials.
Meanwhile, Luigi recommends working together with Technikki to Adaphne, but she turns it down.
Later, players need to help Adaphne get the materials; for this, they must interact with Technikki, who will help them collect the materials.
Talk To Technikki After Adaphne
The next step for the players will be talking to Technikki on Shipshape Island.
Here he will inform Luigi of needing a part of Bowser’s Airship on Wayaway Island and informs of designing boots for both Mario and Luigi.
Luigi suggests to Technikki that they collaborate with Adaphne, and Technikki agrees. Technikki then requests to see the Adaphne Scope, which will be upgraded to the Technikki Scope Deluxe.
Players will then have to use the cannon to get to the Brrrning Sea, Great Lighthouse Island.
Once here, players need to head on to Sublevel 1 via the lift, where they will have to fight the Zok Tropers.
After defeating these Zok Tropers, players will acquire the Zocket Alloy, which will help Adaphne and Technikki make the Adaphnikki Boots and give them to Luigi.
Once the boot is ready for Lugi, players can complete the Special Quest Dueling Geniuses in Mario & Luigi: Brothership by receiving rewards like the Adaphnikki Boots, a Heart Bean, and a Defense Bean.
