Chaso’s Abilities And Gameplay In Anime Vanguards
The placement cost for Chaso is ¥1250, and he has a small area of effect (AoE) that he can deal damage to when deployed in battle.
He has a passive ability called “Blood Manipulation,” which allows him to inflict bleed damage equal to 35% of his total damage.
This makes him an ideal choice for defeating bosses, who typically have a high amount of health.
Evolved Chaso gains an additional passive ability called “Flowing Blood.” With each attack he performs, he inflicts 5% damage on a bleeding enemy, up to a maximum of 50%.
Upgrading the unit to level 3 in-game will unlock “Blood Convergence,” changing the area of effect from a circle to a cone.
Level 5 unlocks “Whip and Plume,” which damages an area and leaves an explosive spot that detonates after a short delay.
“Coagulated Spike,” unlocked at level 8, which deals single-hit damage within a radius.
The final level of Chaso unlocks “Blood Storm,” a massive AoE attack in which the unit leaps into the air to deliver a high level of damage.
