The Deafened Mourning quest in Diablo 4 takes players through a sad and eerie journey.
The quest begins in Beast Fate Wilderness, where you must navigate to Gurnok and talk to Wak’Lan.
The town of Gurnok is gripped by despair after a brutal massacre, as Bloodhawks have mercilessly attacked its inhabitants.
The Deafened Mourning quest includes the following objectives:
- Search for the Bloodhawk’s nest.
- Kill the Juvenile Bloodhawks.
- Defeat Terrorclaw.
- Enter the Beast Graveyard.
- Collect the Iron horn from Rhino in the Beast Graveyard.
- Return to Wak’Lan.
Wak’Lan instructs us to search for the Bloodhawk’s Nest, as two children from the town are missing.
Head into Beast Fate Wilderness and journey to the Bloodhawk’s Nest, where a swarm of Bloodhawks awaits.
Eliminate the Juvenile Bloodhawks that will swarm the area immediately upon your entry into their nest.
While fending off the massive wave of mobs, a Terrorclaw, a ferocious broodmother, suddenly emerges.
Defend yourself against the Elite mob, then make your way back to Wak’Lan to report on your encounter.
Enter Beast Graveyard To Retrieve The Horn
Wak’Lan explains that a traditional horn, which failed to sound, was destroyed by the Bloodhawks.
He further explains that the horn must be replaced and that a rhino known as Iron Horn dwells within the Beast Graveyard.
You will receive orders to slay the beast and return with its horn.
Enter the Beast Graveyard and explore the Rotten Plains until you encounter an Iron Horn. Defeating the beast will drop its horn.
Collect the horn and make your way back to the town of Gurnok and meet Wak’Lan to deliver the horn.
Completing this quest rewards players with 48 Murmuring Obols, Cruel Drifter’s Glove and Hailstone Bane, along with some gold and experience.
