Use Of Shard Cards In FragPunk
Shard Cards are a unique element in FragPunk that let players alter the rules of each round.

With over 169 different cards available in the game, each Shard Card offers its own unique effects.
Before each round begins, teams receive a random set of Shard Cards drawn from each player’s available collection.
Team members can use their available Shard Points to activate their chosen Shard Card.

Whereas, if players are unhappy with the Shard Cards they receive, they can spend Shard Points to draw a new one by clicking the refresh button.
Similarities Between Fragpunk And Friends Vs. Friends
Friends vs. Friends is a deck-building, first-person shooter video game developed by the indie studio Brainwash Gang.
Many people have noticed the similarities between the two games, as this one also features cards that change the rules.
Apart from the shared mechanics, Fragpunk also includes cards with similar effects.

Both games feature Big Head, a special ability card that increases the size of an enemy’s head.
Similarly, a character named Duck Anderson in Friends vs. Friends has a card called “It’s Medicinal.“
The card has the same ability as Strange Herbs in FragPunk, raising suspicions among players.

However, many avid Friends vs. Friends players who also play FragPunk claim the two games are not similar.
Apart from the card mechanics, the two games do not share many other similarities.
In Fragpunk, players do not choose which cards to use during the game, unlike in FVF, where players can build a deck beforehand.
Instead, Fragpunk is more similar to other shooter games like Valorant, featuring modifiers between rounds.
