Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 is the newly released third-person shooter video game developed by Saber Initiatives.
A sequel to the popular first installment, the developers recently launched the first major post-launch update for Space Marine 2.
The update has introduced various new features in the game including the Lethal difficulty, cosmetics, and PvP map.
Lethal Difficulty And Cosmetics In Space Marine 2
Lethal Difficulty is the hardest difficulty in Operations mode. Level five of the five difficulty levels, Lethal Difficulty mode also introduces newer cosmetics as the rewards.
In addition to the cosmetics, the Lethal Difficulty brings dynamic ammo crates, stronger major enemies, and a complex game meta overall.
Further, the ammo crates in Lethal difficulty will have limited refills per player, forcing players to use the ammo wisely.
Further, the Majoris Enemies will be tougher to defeat; posing a lethal threat to the players. Likewise, the armor will restore only when you stay in the vicinity of your battle brothers.
Overcoming such a difficult game meta in Lethal Difficulty will grant players with newer cosmetics such as helmets, skins, knee emblems, etc.
The new Powersword Skin, which resembles the battle-worn weapon’s skin, is one of the many cosmetics rewards players can gain after completing Lethal Difficulty.
Players need to complete the new base operations in Lethal Difficulty to obtain the Powersword skin.
Likewise, players need to complete all the base operations in Lethal Difficulty in order to gain the helmets as the reward.
Similarly, the new Knee emblem is a fresher addition to the game’s cosmetics. Each mission in the Lethal Difficulty has the knee emblem as the reward.
However, many of the players complained about the bug issue regarding the cosmetics. Players failed to unlock the cosmetics rewards despite completing the objectives and missions.
Further, the new patch notes also introduced newer content, photo mode etc to the game.
