Collecting The Skandha Items

Before you face the Giant Shigandang boss in Chapter 6 of Black Myth: Wukong, you must collect four specific Skandha items scattered in different areas;

Skandha Of Form

Players can find the Skandha of Form in Chapter 1, in the Forest of Wolves area. You can start from the Front Hills Keeper’s Shrine, head left, and cross the bridge.

Follow the narrow path until you reach a stream with a large stone head. Interact with the head to obtain the Skandha of Form.

Skandha Of Feeling

To obtain the Skandha of Feeling, you must defeat the secret Shigandang boss in Chapter 2.

To unlock this boss, you must first collect six Buddha’s Eyeballs scattered throughout the Fright Cliff area.

Once you have all six eyeballs, head to the Rockrest Flat shrine and enter the boss arena to the left, where you fought the Stone Vanguard.

Skandha Of Thought

The Skandha of Thought is in Chapter 3, the Valley of Ecstasy. Start from the Mindfulness Cliff Keeper’s Shrine, drop down to the right, and ascend the stairs.

Follow the path until you reach another set of stairs leading to a stonehead containing the Skandha of Thought.

Skandha Of Choice

The Skandha of Choice can be found in Chapter 4, near the Purifying Spring Keeper’s Shrine in the Webbed Hollow.

How To Defeat Giant Shigandang In Black Myth: Wukong?

Before facing the Giant Shigandang, you need to collect six Buddha’s Eyeballs located in the Fright Cliff area.

Ensure you have a strong weapon, such as the Wind Bear Staff, which increases your damage output and critical damage.

Further, consider crafting and using Evil Repelling Medicament to boost your defense during the fight.

Moreover, Azure Dust Transformation can be used to absorb damage and immobilize spells.

Hence, you can use this time to unleash heavy attacks or combos. If it performs a backhand swipe, you can parry with Rock Solid or dodge to continue your assault.

When it raises its arms, jump over the shockwave rings that spread out. Thus, keep moving to avoid the Giant Shigandang’s attacks.

Significantly, use your stamina wisely to dodge and strike when openings appear. The boss is slow, allowing you to reposition effectively.

Upon defeating the Giant Shigandang, you will receive valuable rewards, including Heart of Stone, Skandha of Consciousness, Mind Core, Yaoguai Core, Experience Points, and Will Points.
